At Nur-ul-Islam Academy, the health and safety of our students, staff, and families are our highest priority. We believe that a secure and nurturing environment allows our children to thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Our campus is carefully maintained to meet all safety standards, with regular inspections, emergency drills, and protocols in place to ensure preparedness at all times. We take a proactive approach to preventing accidents and promoting well-being, creating a space where every child feels safe, cared for, and protected.
Our school follows comprehensive health guidelines that align with state and local regulations. We maintain clean and hygienic facilities, provide access to first aid and emergency care, and work closely with parents to manage student health needs. Staff members are trained in emergency procedures, including CPR and first aid, ensuring a prompt and effective response when needed. In addition, we emphasize health education—encouraging students to make responsible choices that support their physical and emotional well-being. The academy has two defibrillators that are housed in separate buildings.
Rooted in Islamic values, we promote a holistic view of health that encompasses the mind, body, and soul. We teach our students that personal hygiene, cleanliness, and care for others are integral parts of faith. Through regular reminders, wellness initiatives, and community programs, we cultivate habits of mindfulness, compassion, and responsibility. At Nur-ul-Islam Academy, safety is not just a policy—it is a shared commitment that reflects our trust in Allah and our love for the children He has entrusted to us.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Nur-Ul-Islam Academy does not tolerate or accept students with a past history of aggression, drugs, or alcohol use. We also have a zero tolerance policy towards violence or the possession of weapons of any kind.
