Through these courses our students are enlightened about the world in which they live, with an emphasis on cultural diversity in an ever-expanding global environment. Teachers work with students and parents to ensure that this partnership will result in a life-long commitment to education. We have implemented Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) textbooks for three of the major courses (Language Arts, mathematics, and science, and we have also enacted textbooks from Savvas Learning Company – K-12, for social studies) because these textbooks are thematic in nature and are based on national standards.
Our students are encouraged to work in groups with an emphasis on inquiry as well as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Community-Based Learning (CBL). All of our core courses are offered through digital and print resources; they facilitate integration between discipline
