Introduction to Our Islamic Preschool Nur-Ul-Islam Academy

Welcome to our Islamic Preschool a nurturing and faith-based learning environment where young children begin their educational journey with love, joy, and purpose.
Our mission is to provide a balanced program that supports each child’s spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth in light of Islamic values.

We combine a high-quality early childhood curriculum with teachings from the Qur’an and Sunnah. Children learn kindness, respect, honesty, and responsibility while developing essential school-readiness skills in literacy, math, science, art, and social studies.
Daily routines include Qur’an recitation, Arabic vocabulary, stories of the Prophets, and engaging hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Academic Milestones
Our curriculum is designed around clear developmental milestones to ensure every child grows at their own pace while achieving key goals:
Language & Literacy: Recognizing letters, building early vocabulary, forming simple sentences, and beginning phonics awareness.
Mathematics: Counting, number recognition, sorting, patterns, and understanding basic shapes and measurements.
Science & Discovery: Observing nature, exploring seasons,
learning about animals, and experimenting with cause and effect.
Social & Emotional Development: Building confidence, sharing, cooperating with peers, and understanding feelings.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Strengthening coordination through writing, cutting, climbing, and creative play.
Islamic & Moral Education: Learning short surahs and duas, understanding daily manners (adab), Islamic months, and love for Allah and His creation.

All our teachers are qualified, experienced, and specially trained in early childhood education, ensuring that each child receives age-appropriate guidance and personalized care in a safe and stimulating environment.

We are proud to share that our VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) program achieved one of the highest academic success rates in Broward County for the 2024–2025 school year, a reflection of our dedicated teachers, strong curriculum, and supportive families.

At our preschool, we believe every child is an amanah (trust) and deserves a loving, supportive, and enriching atmosphere where they feel valued and connected to their faith.
